Amazon Rainforest Getting Slashed

The rainforest in Brazil is getting cut again. Read the recent news here http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/sep/01/forests.brazil. Why is this happening? What can be done to stop it? How does this affect the world?

This is happening because of the destruction. We can stop it but trying to stop people form cutting the trees down. How this affect the world would is that the organism that live there would have a habitat and that they won’t go extinct.

Actually-the we get most of our oxygen from algae that floats around in the ocean. Make sure you check your facts.
